Tenax International

Custom Gutenberg Blocks Built with ACF

electric-car-washer

A collaborative WordPress project featuring custom Gutenberg blocks, structured editor controls, responsive Tailwind CSS layouts, and TypeScript-powered front-end interactions.

Project Overview

Tenax International required a flexible WordPress implementation that could support varied page content while preserving a consistent visual system. The project needed reusable sections for editors and dependable behaviour across desktop, tablet, and mobile screens.

My Contribution

  • Contributed custom Gutenberg blocks built with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
  • Implemented responsive layouts and component styling with Tailwind CSS.
  • Added TypeScript-powered front-end behaviour and interactive elements.
  • Worked collaboratively within the project’s established WordPress architecture and design system.

Development Challenge

The key challenge was translating designed page sections into reusable editor blocks rather than one-off templates. Each block needed to give content editors useful flexibility while maintaining predictable spacing, responsive behaviour, and visual consistency.

Technical Approach

I used ACF Blocks to create structured Gutenberg editing experiences, Tailwind CSS to implement responsive layouts within the project’s design system, and TypeScript for interactive front-end behaviour. The component-based approach helped keep both the editor experience and the public interface consistent.

Outcome

The resulting implementation provides editors with reusable, structured page-building controls while delivering a cohesive responsive experience for visitors. It also demonstrates my ability to contribute production-ready components within a collaborative WordPress development workflow.
